Late Shri K.M Goenka ji was an inspiration to every life he touched.
Beginning with Gokuldham High School and Junior College, followed by Yashodham High School & Junior College, Vasant Vihar High School & Junior College, Lakshdham High School, Vasant Vihar Playmate Pre-School, Playmate Pre School and Lakshdham Playmate Pre School have been developed and are being efficiently run by his daughter Ms. Sunita Goenka and her professional team.
The GAET also operates the Thane Police School, a school dedicated to educating the children of men and women in uniform. It is a unique initiative taken by GAET and Thane’s Police Force.
With the primary focus to give every child the equality of opportunity, The Goenka & Associates Educational Trust (GAET) was established to impart the best education to students by focussing on giving every child the equality of opportunities.

Late Mrs. Usha Khandwala played a major role in the establishment of Goenka & Associates Educational Trust in 1981 and was designated as the Managing Trustee of GAET.
With her exceptional experience in teaching and management, she played a key role in interviewing and selecting teachers for our institutions and discussing job profile with staff.
She conducted workshops when new Academic Sessions began. She was excellent in organizing and managing coordinating sessions among all our institutions which was her unique quality.
Late Mrs. Usha Khandwala upgraded the schools and managed the affairs of the Trust so efficiently that her work is remembered even today.
